How To Register For  Kamloops Track & Field Club

All athletes must register for each program they are interested in attending.
Our preferred registration method is to use our ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM

Refund requests
1. Received less than 2 days before the start of a season or session will not be granted.

 2. Registration refunds for medical reasons can only be processed upon receipt of a note from a medical professional. A fee will be applied for any sessions transpired.

BC Athletics Memberships

All members of Kamloops Track and Field Club must also have a non-refundable annual membership with BC Athletics. For athletes registering with them after September 1, their memberships will be for the rest of the current year and all of the next year (18 months). Athletes registering for club programs in Sept and Oct (Baseline Training, Cross Country) my continue to use their previous seasons’ BCA membership unless they take out an annual club membership. Track Rascal and Mini-Track Rascal athletes may also continue to use their previous seasons’ BCA membership for the Sept to Oct program and the Nov to Dec program. Track Rascals who turn 9 in the following and will be moving to the JD program, may have to take out a JD BC Athletics membership.

Useful Downloads For Parents / Guardians

Our club generally has three distinct seasons which usually begin in September of each year. Our coaches are usually off for the month of August and may stop their programs earlier if athlete interest and attendance drops off after school is over at the end of June. However if an athlete makes a national team or wishes to continue training up to their provincial championship, coaches will be there to help athletes reach their highest level of achievement. Coaches often take a break at Christmas, and also during Spring Break time. Discussion with your coach will help you to determine when they will not be working ahead of these breaks. 

Cross Country Season

Usually runs from the beginning of September until the end of October.

Indoor Program Season

High School and older programs usually start with Baseline Training at the beginning of September until the end of October. Then the Indoor Season begins from the beginning of November until the end of March. Junior Development (JD) program usually runs from the beginning of November until the end of March.

Outdoor Program Season

Usually runs from the beginning of April and goes until mid-July. Some athletes may train in July because provincial/national championships take place during the summer.
